My name is Ian and I am a KPA Certified Kambo Practitioner living in Clitheroe, I cover anywhere within the Ribble Valley, Pendle and Burnley and look forward to meeting you and offering my services for your personal wellbeing. Kambo or Acate (Matses word) is the name of the secretion of a large green tree frog known as Giant Green Monkey Tree Frog or the Phyllomedusa bicolor. This secretion consists of a number of beneficial peptides, both bioactive and neuropeptides such as Phyllokinin and Dermaseptin B2.

Kambo has been used for centuries by various indigenous tribes including the Matses, Yawanawa, Huni Kuin and is indigenous to the Upper Amazon basin. It is mainly used to cleanse, strengthen, and energize the minds and bodies of their hunters. Also it is used as a medicine fever, infections and to realign themselves with their natural environment. This medicine is also used to clear away dark or negative energy known as Panema, this is also a term used for bad luck. It can also reduce pain and t is often referred to as “the vaccine of the forest”.

Each session with me includes a thorough consultation that starts with a Health Questionnaire that is sent to you prior to booking and asks for information including pre existing health conditions, from this I can determine firstly if Kambo is suitable for you because unfortunately Kambo is not for everyone, not everyone can take Kambo.

You must inform me, if you have ever had or currently have any mental or any physical health condition and if you are taking any medications and which supplements you are currently taking. The completed form must be returned to me prior to any further consultation.

Contraindications, not suitable for the following:

Aneurysm, Active Ulcers, Alcohol Dependence, Addisons Disease, Brain injuries, Blood Clots, Chemotherapy or Chemo drugs (within 6 weeks), Drug dependency (Opioids or Benzos), Diarrhoea lasting several days (due to electrolyte imbalance), Gastric Sleeve or band surgery, Heart Issues (any), Organ Transplant, PTSD (Call to discuss), Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective Disorders, Psychosis, Personality Disorders, Psychiatric History previously, Medicated Low Blood Pressure, Recent Surgeries (minimum 8 weeks post), Stroke, Pregnancy, Breastfeeding (under 6 months), within 21 days of giving birth, Asthma (Severity dependant - Call to discuss), Diabetics (Call to discuss), Recent use of Bufo Alvarius, Covid Vaccination (minimum 6 weeks post), Under 18.
